Support our ministry and the women we serve

    • At Morning Star Recovery House for Women, our mission is to lead souls suffering from addiction to true freedom and healing by guiding them toward reconciliation with God. Rooted in the sacraments of the Catholic Church and traditional Catholic spirituality, we foster trust in Divine Providence and provide a nurturing environment where women can experience spiritual renewal. Through the integration of the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, we empower each woman to embrace the transformative grace of God, finding peace, strength, and lasting recovery in Him.

Your donations are taken with profound gratitude. We will do our absolute best to be good stewards of all that is given to us.
It is thanks to your generous donations that we are able to dedicate ourselves completely toward the healing of others.

    • Memorial and Tribute Gifts

If you wish to make a donation in memory of a colleague, friend or loved one who has passed into eternity, you can specify who this gift is offered in honor of when you donate. With all memorial or tribute gifts made, we will have offered The Holy Sacrifice of The Mass for the repose of their soul and as a community we will pray for them and their loved ones.

    Material Needs
    • Since many who come to us have very little and often only what's on their person, we gladly will receive any donations that are for what the body calls for in order to support them while in their poverty.

If you are interested in donating alms by means of basic necessities or other goods, we will gladly receive them in person on property. We have a storage room in which we can keep bins of clothes and shelves for food storage. We also use many other materials in order to maintain our ministry. Please contact us before planning to drop off donations so that we can make sure we have room and are prepared to store them.

      We are open to receiving:

+  Clothes and footwear for women
      +  Canned or dry food
+  Home-cooked or prepared meals* (please see note below)
      +  Hygiene for women
+  Office supplies (notebooks, pens, computer paper, etc..)
      +  Household cleaning products
+  Catholic books, rosaries, scapulars, images and other sacramentals

*If cooking a meal for the community is something you are interested in, we gladly would love to receive your generous act of charity, but please contact us first and schedule the prepared meal, for this will ensure for us the ability to properly store all food, as we have limited storage and refrigeration for perishable items.

    Matching Gifts
    • If you or your spouse's employer offers a gift matching program and you would like to participate, you can donate online or by mail as you normally would, then ask for and fill out the relevant paperwork or online form required by your employer. They will either send us the necessary paperwork, or will give you a form to send to us via email or mail. We will then respond to your employer confirming your donation.

  • Stewardship

    • Serving all who need help

We believe that one's means should never be a barrier to their recovery. That's why we initially provide our services free of charge once we discern that someone has a sincere desire for healing.

"For I was hungry, and you gave me to eat: I was thirsty, and you gave me to drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in: naked, and you covered me..."

      - Matthew 25:35-36

    • How we use your donations

All alms received go toward: 1) rent and shelter, food, clothing, hygiene, and other basic necessities for those we serve if they are in need of them during their first 60 days in the program, and 2) to support our Missions Director and all employees who live on property at the houses.
If you’d like your donation to go toward anything in particular, please leave us a note and we will allocate your donation toward that resource.

    • For our Benefactors

We give great thanks to God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us by the graciousness of our benefactors and their prayers. We support all our benefactors with the most precious eternal gifts God has given to us, by:
      1. Supporting their intentions daily in our prayers, and
      2. Having The Holy Sacrifice of The Mass offered twice a month for their benefit; once for their personal intentions and another for their sanctity and salvation.

Please continue to keep this work of God in your prayers, as it is the greatest gift one can give!
